Go For The Goals - 2020
Hosted by Manitoba Council for International Cooperation. This is the official launch of International Development Week in Manitoba 2020 with the review of 2019’s projects. It took place at the Rotunda of the Manitoba Legislative Building at 11:45 am, February 4, 2020.
Program included:
· Premiere of "Who Does Your Body Belong to?" — a collaborative spoken word poem created by Manitoba high school students
· Presentations from international development organizations and other international development actors on how Manitobans are working together to #GoForTheGoals
Manitoba Women For Women was proud to have opportunity to share the story about our Rebuilding from Within Project 2019 at this event
Ms. Elizabeth Aluk Andrea, the president of Manitoba Women for Women was sharing our story in Wau, South Sudan
Besides, Manitoba Women For Women‘s representatives had chances to socialize with other Manitobans and organizations who are working hard to contribute more to the communities.
