COVID-19: How to Protect Yourself

Until March 16, 2020, according to the Government of Manitoba, there are 7 cases confirmed positive in Manitoba (6 cases in Winnipeg).
The following tips are recommended by the Government of Manitoba and CDC to protect yourself and other people in the Covid-19 outbreak.

Wash your hands often:
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water at least 20 seconds.
If you don't have soap and water available, use a hand sanitizer that has at least 60% of alcohol instead.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Social Distancing:
Avoid close contact with sick people.
Put a distance between you and other people at least 6 feet.
Clean and disinfect:
Clean and disinfect the frequently touched surface more often with household bleach/detergent.
Stay home if you're sick:
If you are sick, stay at home unless you need to take medical care.
Wear a mask if you're sick:
If you are sick, you should wear a facemask when you are around with other people to avoid spreading the covid-19.
Cover your coughs & sneezes:
Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze with a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
Throw used tissue into the trash.
Wash your hands immediately with soap and water / 60%-alcohol sanitizer.
